Known around the world as the “Temple of Speed”, Monza is one of the most historic and thrilling circuits in motorsports. Built in just 110 days in 1922 within the magnificent Royal Villa of Monza park, the circuit has been synonymous with speed, tradition, and racing drama for more than a century. Its long straights, demanding braking zones, and tight chicanes challenge even the world’s best drivers, with cars spending approximately 80% of each lap at full throttle!
The 2026 Italian Grand Prix delivered a spectacular race at Monza, highlighted by an unforgettable home victory for Italian teenager Kimi Antonelli. Starting 19th on the grid following an engine penalty, the Mercedes driver charged through the field to claim victory and becoming the first Italian driver in 60 years to win his home Grand Prix – wow!

Our hotel accommodations are located with in walking distance to the lake’s edge and we certainly encourage our guests to get out and explore the lake while not at the track of course. There is no better way to explore Lake Como and the beautiful landscape that surround this body of water than to take a boat ride from Como. Como also has a Funicular that travels up the steep mountain side to a town named Brunate. The views are absolutely stunning from the top.
Como has a lengthy history and has some amazing building and architecture that points to periods of time in that history. One of those buildings is the Como Cathedral. The building features ornate stone work, including stone statues and a series of small decorative stone towers placed atop striking columns. The interior is lavish and expansive and features a central dome that is covered in golden artwork.

After breakfast, we will head to Monza circuit for another full day of Formula 1 action, including the F1 Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying. Spend the day at Monza circuit for Formula 1 qualifying, the F1 Sprint race or take the day to explore more of Lake Como and its charming villages, stunning scenery, and lakeside attractions.

It’s race day! After breakfast, we will depart to Monza Circuit for the main event, the 2027 Italian Grand Prix! After an exhilarating day of racing, return to Lake Como and enjoy your final evening at your leisure.

The Variante 8A grandstand is located at the end of the pits straight just after the first chicane. This grandstand is located on the outside of track and offers a great view of the cars maneuvering through the chicane. This grandstand also features a large screen TV to be able to watch all the action from around the track. This grandstand is uncovered with reserved bench style seats. Section 8A is the upper grandstand.

Grandstand 26a is on the main straight, overlooking the front of the grid, a great place to watch the dramatic race start, see the winner take the checkered flag, and the excitement of the pre-race grid preparations. You will also be ideally placed to watch the post-race celebrations on the main straight, as the passionate Ferrari fans, or Tifosi, swarm onto the track to watch the podium celebrations. This is reserved and covered seating with seat backs, opposite a giant screen TV.

This uncovered grandstand is located on the inside of the track at the end of the Pits Straight, just before the First Chicane (Prima Variante), the fastest section of the track. Situated on the inside of the track closest to the turn's apex. Angled directly at the heavy braking zone and the first chicane, make this a prime spot to watch cars slow down from top speeds and navigate tight wheel-to-wheel turns. A big screen TV is visible from this stand which make it so much easier to keep track of what is happening later on during the race.
