Monaco Grand Prix
Widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious automobile races in the world the Monaco Grand Prix is truly the crown jewel of Formula 1. Also included in the Triple Crown of Motorsport, along with the Indy 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this race is one for the bucket list at the very least. Just an 8-hour flight from New York and an 11.5 hour flight from Los Angeles race fans will be rubbing elbows with the stars and insiders of racing’s most elite series in no time.
The Circuit de Monaco is located on the streets of Monte Carlo, Monaco where it has been held each year since 1929. Within walking distances for guests choosing to stay in Monte Carlo and just a short 45 minute ride away for guests choosing to stay in Nice. This circuit is just 2.074 miles or 3.337 km in length, coming in as the shortest circuit on the F1 calendar. The circuit has 19 turns, 8 to the left and 11 to the right, with more than 135 feet or 40 meters in elevation change during the lap. This race is truly one of the last in the world that allow fans to take a step back in time and it is certainly one of our favorite races to share with our guests.
The circuit still demands the drivers complete focus to be able to navigate the narrow streets and extremely tight chicanes that exist throughout the track. Precision driving, at this level, can only really be experienced in Monaco which is now one of only four street circuits remaining.
While lap one of Sunday’s 2024 race had a bit too much excitement, the race settled down and a big congrats to Charles Leclerc for finally conquering all on his home turf and giving his fans, friends, family and Monaco much to be proud of.
Transfers, Tickets, Hospitality Packages and Accommodations
At Grand Prix Tours we pride ourselves on offering the very best Tickets and Hospitality options available. When it comes to tickets the Monaco Grand Prix is unique to all other Formula 1 races. For this street circuit our recommendation is to select a different viewing location for each day, yacht viewing or a grandstand on Friday or Saturday and a premier balcony or rooftop viewing for race day. Please see our track map and list of available tickets below to get an idea of where you would like to view the race.
Our chosen Accommodations are made up of multiple 3, 4 and 5 star hotel options available in two differing locations. Guests can choose to stay in the heart of Monaco and be centrally located for the weekend’s events or we have hotel options in Nice, a wonderful city just south of Monaco with a slightly more relaxed environment. Both cities are positioned on the coast of the Mediterranean sea and each offer their own unique attractions and beautiful stretches of coast line.
Grand Prix Tours has taken care of all of the details and has arranged an amazing motorsports vacation. Call 949 719 3350 to book your trip or to contact us with any questions. Click Show Packages to learn more and to see details and pricing.
