You will have the honor and the privilege of riding in a period correct jeep on trails of Normandy, the very place where the jeep evolved in June of 1944. The jeep provides us with an incomparable tool to evoke emotion and awaken the senses. The unmistakable sight and sounds of the Willy’s jeep better known as the Go-Devil will complete the sensation of authenticity. You will become an actor borrowing time in this realistic and live museum.
The local architecture of Normandy instantly immerses you in the past. Not much has changed in this area since June 6, 1944. Every palatial estate has its history that the owners are happy to tell their stories while welcoming you warmly. Many of these historical residences were requisitioned during the Nazi occupation, and the narratives of battles to drive out the enemy are very interesting and unique.
As part of your stay you will have the option to live like a soldier would have in 1944. The camp is intended to resemble the ones that would have been setup on the soil of Normandy when advancing allied troops were moving though the fields. You will learn survival techniques used by the solders and will get to know the fresh and pleasant nights of Normandy.
This unique adventure will offer you many surprises one being encounters with witnesses of the past. Whether they are veterans of the military or a civilian witness it is always with the same emotion that they share their stories of the past. It is no surprise that it is often these moments that guests keep memories of for a long time to come.
Although our stay happens in immersion, we do not deprive a taste of the French gastronomy, Normandy offers wonderful French cooking. The seafood is a local specialty along with fabulous French wine of course!

In the spring of 1944, the hamlet of Droueries was occupied by soldiers belonging to the third battalion of Grenadier-Regiment 1058 ( 91. Infantry Division ). This small town is located about 500 meters east of Saint-Côme-du-Mont . The initial plans provide for the 2nd Battalion of the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment ( 101st Airborne Division ) under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel Robert A. Ballard to capture the hamlet of Droueries in the early hours of the D-Day: the capture of this locality then allowed the fall of Saint-Côme-du-Mont.
This quiet little village is located at the junction of the "higher" coastal road and the road from Ste Mere Eglise to the coast. It was therefore strategic to hold it as it controlled part of the northern flank of the airborne attack and of the Utah beach landing. Paratroopers of the 502 and 506 regiments held it with MajorStopka until relieved by the 4th Infantry Division. Ravenoville was made world-famous by the picture of James Flanagan, the U.S paratrooper holding a nazi flag in front of the Marmion's farm.
Located 7kms North East from Sainte-Mère-Eglise, this battery built in 1941, is one of the first buildings of the Atlantic Wall in France. Tunnels between bunkers are like a maze! Here you can see a typical daily life of the soldiers and Major Treiber at the time.
Quaint, quiet Sainte-Mère-Eglise became involved in one of the greatest exploits in military history, as D-Day began. American parachutists were being dropped all around the area, and in the village itself. The German battery at nearby Azeville, the Airborne Museum, a major war museum in the village, and the copy of John Steele and his parachute stuck on the church tower act as important reminders of how peace can sometimes hang by just a thread As well as considering Sainte-Mère-Eglise`s rousing history, admire its historic buildings, washhouses and fountains, plus the surrounding manors.
Omaha Beach is a landing area in Normandy, used by Allied forces in the WWII D-Day invasion. Today, the beach is dotted with the remains of German bunkers. On the shore, the stainless-steel sculpture Les Braves commemorates American soldiers. Behind the beach is the Musée Mémorial d`Omaha Beach, also documenting the invasion. Nearby, the Overlord Museum displays WWII tanks, artillery and dioramas.
The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial is a World War II cemetery and memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, that honors American troops who died in Europe during World War II. More than 9,000 are buried there.
