Grand Prix Tours has been orchestrating inclusive and convenient travel packages to the Canadian Grand Prix for more than 30 years and 2023 will be no different. Montreal plays a gracious host to Formula 1 fans like few other cities in the world. As the winter fades and spring turns into summer the people of Montreal are ready for some fun in the sun and the Grand Prix weekend is just that.
Constructed on a man-made island in the middle of the St. Lawrence River the race is held at the famed Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The circuit was named after the Quebec native and winner of the first Canadian Grand Prix held in Montreal. This 2.710 miles or 4.361 km track has played host to the Canadian Grand Prix 41 times with 2023 marking the 42nd. The track is made up of 14 turns, 7 left and 7 right and has an elevation change of roughly 18 feet at its highest point.
This is one of our favorite races and cities on the F1 calendar and we have an array of packages that include 3 or 4 night accommodations at several hotels right in the center of Montreal. While in Montreal you will be pleasantly surprised with the locations of our chosen hotel accommodations and the ease with which you can move around the city. The metro is our chosen mode of transportation and we supply all guests with a weekend metro pass, a map and full instructions of how to get the most out of the underground train system. We highly suggest using the pass not only for getting to and from the track at your leisure but also to explore the many local attractions the city has to offer.
Guests are usually surprised to learn that it is not only the metro system that is located underground, there is also a vast network of pedestrian walkways, shops and restaurants to explore below the city.
Take in the quaint French charm of old town Montreal and the Grande Roue de Montréal, Canada's largest observation wheel giving riders a birds eye view of the city and the surrounding area. Enjoy a cruise on the saint Lawrence river via the Bateau-Mouche, visit the Casino de Montreal and enjoy the F1 street festivals in The Golden Mile downtown district of Montreal.
Montreal has a uniquely European feel, French is the official language and the city is the second largest French-speaking city in the world, after Paris. Not to worry, however; as English is a close second and visitors have little trouble communicating and exploring.

Thank you for a wonderful trip to the Canadian Grand Prix. The Hyatt Hotel was great. Everybody at the hotel was spot on. The woman that met us for breakfast every morning was so fun and cheerful. She started our day perfectly. The racetrack was great.(We have been here twelve times now.) The walk is fine for us-as we walk miles in Colorado everyday. Our seats were great in Turn Three. The new QR codes and self printing of the tickets worked well. Your GP party was super. Loved your sitting arrangements and the guests, Will Buxton and Rachel Brookes, were fun. Airport to each downtown hotel: 30 min
As the Canadian Grand Prix at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit is located on the island and parking is extremely limited, it is best to take the metro. Travel time varies between 10-15 minutes from each downtown hotel. Please allow plenty of time to walk to your grandstand from the metro station Jean Drapeau.
Transfer times may vary, due to the Canadian Grand Prix traffic and weather conditions.
Here is your chance to set foot on the Gilles-Villenueve track, stroll the pit lane and watch the crews as they work on the cars. Access to the pit lane Open House Day is from 9:00am - 12:00noon (subject to confirmation).

As if enjoying a Formula 1 race with a backdrop of Montreal is not enough, we bring you our F1 Race Preview Party hosted by a race celebrity. Drinks and dinner are included. In 2022 we had the pleasure of Will Buxton and Rachel Brookes hosting our event and had agreat time getting to know them both and gettin all the inside scoop on the teams and the drivers.
We were excited to bring you our host for Grand Prix Tours, Karun Chandhok.
A multiple race winner and podium finisher in GP2, Karun was a test driver for the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team in 2007 and 2008, before going on to race in Formula 1 for Hispania Racing and Team Lotus in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Karun has developed a reputation as one of the most well-respected analysts currently working in Formula I, deriving his expertise from his varied racing career. Prior to racing in Formula 1 he raced in British F3, GP2, A1 Grand Prix and has since competed in Formula E, the World Endurance Championship and the Le Mans 24 Hours. Previously he worked as a pitlane reporter for the BBC and Channel 4 before moving to Sky Sports F1 in 2020 as a contributing analyst and commentator.
In 2019 the Grand Prix Trust donated an amazing framed box containing a photo of Martin Brundle drinking out of Daniel's shoe after his race win last year in Baku, plus the actual shoe. We also auctioned 2 VIP F1 Paddock Passes for Sunday. The Lance Stroll Grandstand is situated on the exit of the hairpin, one of the best spots on circuit for passing with views of the slight left turn 11. Formerly known as grandstand 24 this grandstand was renamed the Lance Stroll Grandstand in 2019 to support the young Canadian driver. All ticket holders receive a voucher for a team hat and shirt on race day (to be confirmed). This grandstand is also one of the closest grandstands to the metro station at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. This grandstand is uncovered with bench style seating.

If you are into the action on pit lane these are the seats for you! Set up in front of the garages Grandstand 1 seats offer a view of all the excitement happening in the pits. These seats also provide excellent views of all the pre- and post-race festivities. There are also giant screens that enable you to follow the action elsewhere on the track. This grandstand is uncovered and seats have a backrest.

Very close to the action the Platinum Grandstand is an ultra-comfortable viewing location that is covered (the only stand that is covered) and features individual seats with seat backs. The Platinum Grandstand is located inside the track between the starting grid and the Senna corner. You will see the cars decelerating before braking to your right and negotiating the very tight and famous sequence left-right-left. A big screen TV is opposite this grandstand.

Guests of the McLaren Formula 1 Experience private suite embark on a first class adventure into the world of F1. Each VIP will experience first-class race viewing facilities, morning refreshments, gourmet dining and fine wines, open bar, pit lane walkabouts and garage tour (see below for more information), closed circuit and digital television.

+ As Lando and Daniel will not be able to enter the Paddock Club interviews will be conducted using Pit Link allowing two-way interaction between the Garage and the Suite. As garage visits are currently suspended we will use the Pit Link camera to broadcast live garage tours within the suite.
*If, McLaren Paddock Club Suite, ticket minimum requirements are not met McLaren guests will be placed within the F1 Paddock Club as guests of McLaren. Guests of McLaren will still benefit from all guest experiences listed above.
