Get ready to join Grand Prix Tours at the United States Grand Prix. Race fans will enjoy this amazing circuit that ranks among the best racing circuits in the world. The host city of Austin is always entertaining and is certainly the closest destination for US race fans on the calendar.
The Circuit of the Americas is located just a short drive from downtown Austin Texas. This 3.426 mile or 5.513 Kilometer track has been home to the United States Grand Prix since 2012. The circuit features a total of 20 turns; 11 to the left and 9 to the right. There is an elevation change of more than 100 feet or 30 meters throughout the course of 1 lap. Much of the elevation change happening at the dramatic turn 1. This 10-story uphill left hander plateaus then drops drivers back down into a series of turns, known as the S’s, that are some of the most challenging high speed turns the drivers will face all season. It comes as no surprise that the Circuit of the Americas is one of the most favored tracks among drivers and fans alike and is slated to be another SOLD OUT event!

While in Austin guests of Grand Prix Tours will be delighted with our chosen accommodations and their proximity to not only the circuit for race weekend but also to local city attractions. Perhaps most well-known for its outstanding food and great live music scene Austin is also known for its general weirdness and friendly locals.
All of our chosen hotel accommodations are in downtown Austin and are conveniently located to Austin’s famous 6th street entertainment district. This historic street is made up of restaurants, bars and live music venues and is the city’s cultural and entertainment center.
Not for the faint of heart but also not far from our hotel accommodations is Austin’s Congress Avenue Bridge also known as Austin’s Bat Bridge. From March through October every evening about 20 minutes before sundown roughly 1.5 million bats emerge from under the Congress Avenue bridge. This natural wonder is truly a sight to be seen. Recommended viewing locations are directly on the bride or on the hillside across the river from the city. When getting this close you will want to be mindful of the droppings that may occur. Perhaps a restaurant or bar with a good view of the bridge is the best place to watch this nightly ritual.
Austin plays a wonderful host to Formula 1 fans every year. There is no shortage of fun and interesting activities to do while not at the track. Addition nights in Austin are always recommended as the schedule for the race weekend leaves little time to explore the city properly. Turn 1 Lower has views from the highest elevation at the circuit this grandstand provides great views of the entire track. These seats are uncovered reserved seats located in the lower levels of the turn 1 grandstand. Guests should be prepared for an uphill hike to this grandstand. Seats are uncovered, individual reserved seats, with seat backs, arm rests and cup holders.

Turn 15 Upper provides views of the cars coming around turn 15 and rushing past into turn 16 these seats are located in the upper level of the turn 15 grandstand. These seats are uncovered, reserved seats with seat backs, arm rests and cup holders. Guests should be prepared for a bit of a hike from the bus parking. Guests can also take one of the shuttle buses that run continuously around the track.

The Main Grandstand tickets provide guests with a seat in the upper level of the main grandstand with exceptional views of the action along the main straight , great views of the pits and the cars going up to turn 1 and prime viewing of the pre and post race celebrations. These seats are covered, individual reserved seats with seat backs, arm rests and cup holders. This ticket also allows access to all of the food and beverage stands directly behind the seating area as well as access into the Velocity Lounge with couches, TV's and full cash bar.
