Monaco Historic Grand Prix

The event is not just about racing—it’s a celebration of style, history, and elegance, set against the backdrop of Casino Square, the Belle Époque architecture, and the Mediterranean coast. The races take place on the Monte Carlo street circuit, just like the modern F1 Grand Prix. This adds authenticity and drama, as vintage cars tackle one of the most challenging tracks in motorsport history.

For the first time, turbo-powered F1 cars will be featured in a dedicated class. This is thanks to recent changes in FIA regulations, allowing cars from the 1981–1985 turbo era to compete. These machines will join the already diverse lineup of historic Grand Prix cars.

The official poster for the 2026 event pays homage to Niki Lauda, marking 50 years since his back-to-back victories at Monaco in the mid-1970s. Expect special programming and displays celebrating his legacy.

The event will feature seven distinct grids, showcasing the evolution of Grand Prix racing from pre-war cars (Race A1) to 1980s turbo beasts (Race G). Iconic cars like the Ford Cosworth DFV-powered single-seaters will remain a centerpiece.

Tickets, Hospitality Viewing Packages, Accommodations and Transfers

At Grand Prix Tours we pride ourselves on offering the very best Tickets and Hospitality options available. The City of Monaco

Monaco has the unique distinction of being the world’s second smallest nation, second to the Vatican. Roughly the size of New York’s central park visitors can walk the width of the country in about an hour. Officially the Principality of Monaco is a sovereign city-state, country, and micro-state located on the French Riviera.

There are many historic sites and entertaining attractions to explore during your stay. Perhaps none more famous than the Casino de Monte-Carlo. Guests are usually surprised to learn that the casino is for tourists of the city only. Local Monegasque’s are not permitted to gamble or even visit the casino. Another local attraction for race fans is the Car Collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco. On display seven days a week guests can explore the lavish and extensive collection of cars for roughly $20 per-person.

Finally, perhaps the most famous sight in Monaco is the Monaco Harbor otherwise known as the Port Hercules. It has been said that Hercules had constructed many of the coastal roads in the area and the harbor itself and for that the port was named after him. Today the port plays host to some of the world’s largest and most expensive yachts. Certainly, over the Monaco Historic GP weekend the harbor will be at full capacity accommodating some 700 mega yachts at one time.

Guests should prepare for an exciting yet relaxing atmosphere with amazing cuisine and shopping on nearly every corner. Grand Prix Tours has arranged the perfect Monaco Historic GP weekend. We have taken care of all the details just meet us in Monaco and we will take care of the rest.
