The Lodge at Pebble Beach - Golf Incentives
Pebble Beach Resorts are a group four legendary golf links and courses set in the sheer beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. Nowhere in the world compares to their magnificent location or the quality of the golf courses. The links at Pebble Beach has had so many pro tournaments that it would impossible to list the players or quote their feats. Many iconic dignitaries like Sir Winston Churchill, Teddy Roosevelt and Clint Eastwood also come to mind as visitors to the famed Peninsula.
Pebble Beach Links, Links at Spanish Bay, Spyglass hill:
But it isn`t just the remarkable Links and Lodge of Pebble Beach that the Peninsula possesses, the links of Spanish Bay was designed by the team of Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Watson and Sandy Tatum to emulate a true Scottish links course, which even has a Scottish Piper who closes the course each evening. The designers certainly achieved their goal. The inaugural round played in 1987, Tom Watson shot a 67 that still stands as the official course record.
The Spyglass Hills course is a mix of sandy sea side dunes and faiways cut through the pine trees to elevated greens. Bunkers and lakes are placed to make this an incredibly difficult course
The oldest course of the Pebble Beach Resorts is Del Monte golf course. Opened in 1897, it has challenged golfers for over a century when playing its meandering layout through Oak and cypress trees.
