Tour Hosts
Each of our race personalities is not only a great driver, but also an extraordinary storyteller. They make the time away from the track an event in its own right as they share their racing experiences. Their insights will change the way you understand racing, with tales about people and places, cars and races... incidents and experiences that are now so funny in retrospect. We promise you an experience you will remember and share with your friends.
John Hopkins
As part of our expanded motor sports programs for the 2004-racing season, we are organizing first class tours to selected European MotoGP events this year. At each event hosting the pre-event parties will be Suzuki Factory rider, John Hopkins. John will talk you through a lap of each circuit and describe his own emotions while sliding his Suzuki around the turns at well over 100 miles an hour.
As a rider for the powerful factory Suzuki team, looking for his first world championship title, John plans to leave his California home in Ramona and spend the entire summer based in Austria for the MotoGP season.
The MotoGP Suzuki that John rides is one of the fastest motorcycles in grand prix racing today. Powered by a 990cc V-4 engine developing over 220 horsepower and tipping the scales at just 320lbs, this state-of-the-art racing motorcycle can reach speeds close to 200 miles per hour at some tracks. Starting his second season as a full factory rider with the Suzuki MotoGP team, John will be looking for victory at the racetracks around Europe and his fans with Grand Prix Tours will be there to watch him ride into Victory Circle at each event.

Derek Daley
Over the past years, Derek has joined us in Indianapolis for the Indy 500 as our guest speaker. His experiences and amazing knowedge of the sport add so much to the race preview party. His special insight and knack for telling race stories will make for a truly memorable experience.
